Who are the most frequently mentioned people on your Vox blog?

Well, number 1 would be Mark obviously. As it should be, he is my husband. Now I'm not sure about the others, but I'm thinking Dave Grohl, Jack Black and Murdock would be high up there too. As it should be. They are all in the "Men other than my husband list" after all.
Why are some people just so effortlessly stylish and others (and you just know I'm talking about myself here) have to make so much effort that we circumnavigate the world of fashion and still end up looking like an Oxfam reject? My mum ALWAYS looks good. ALWAYS. Not necessarily to my own personal taste, but I recognise that she has her own style and it looks good. I on the other hand was not blessed with style, and it shows. Boy, does it show... to be fair, I recognise style in others, and I very much know what I like, but I just can't seem to make it work for me. Is it my size? Short and fat is tricky to dress, admittedly.
I went shopping yesterday, an excursion usually doomed to failure before I even leave the flat. But yesterdays trip went surprisingly well, and I came home with three new tops and a pair of combat trousers. Me, in combats! I know!! But they actually looked pretty cool. Tops are slightly tight, tighter than I would usually buy but I think they are the right size rather than being baggy, which is what I usually do to hide the tummy. So I was being risky and it might just have paid off. Of course I think the fact that everything I bought has got a very eighties flavour might be why it went so well, but never mind, I've always been stuck in a time warp. I see nothing wrong with that.
Talking of warps, season three of Star Trek: TNG turned up! Woohoo! I don't have season one and two, they will follow. I started with three because it has one of my all time fave episodes, Hollow Pursuits, the first appearance of Reg Barclay (or Murdock from the A Team to the uninitiated). I am premiering it to Mark this evening.

They call him "Howling Mad" and with good reason. Once a top notch pilot, the pressures of war left Murdock mad. He is known for his smirk, variety of personas and overall mental instability. When he isn't spending time institutionalized, Murdock is using his flying skills for the A-Team, driving B.A. nuts and talking to his imaginary dog.
Which A-Team member are you???
I'm the coolest, of course. :D
